Children Are Very Important

Scripture Verses :

Mk.10:13-16


Summary :

-the disciples were preoccupied with themselves & adult issues
-this was not the first time Jesus laid his hands on children
-they neglected the children
-they wanted Christ to rest
-their good intentions were misplaced
-people are more important than issues
-children are lives in the making
-Christ's priority was children over the adults
-Christ gave full & free access to children
-Christ loved children dearly
-why did Christ love children so dearly?
-because of their characteristics:
-First,trust!
-so should we trust our heavenly father
-Second,innocence & naivete
-Third, teachability
-especially regarding the right values
-they are not like adults: critical, analytical, not trusting ,not humble, unteachable, full of doubts
-we must be sincere with God about our weaknesses or flaws
-we must be trusting toward God
-is our relationship with God based on trust, innocence & teachability?
