Joel 2:28-32


Summary :

-we need a fresh outpouring of the Spirit
-the prophet Joel spoke of the unfolding of events in human history
-our Father is a big spender & He delights in annointing His people
-God mentions many times in His Word: " I will pour out my Spirit"
-not the spirit of the flesh but God's Spirit
-He does this not to demean His people but to empower them
-if we desire this, He will empower us
-the offering of our spirit is in keeping with humility
-God gives the world more time to repent
-for the Christian, his or her home is, however, in heaven
-there is deliverance for the unbeliever when he or she calls on the name of God
-the God who calls us to faith in Him by callinq upon his Son also sustains us
-Pentecost & the outpouring of the Holy Spirit are only the beginning, as evidenced in the book of Acts
-let us seek the Lord now
