Christians Are The True Circumcision

Phi. 3:3

Summary :

-1st,Christians worship God in the Spirit
-2nd, we rejoice in Christ
-3rd, we put no confidence in our flesh
-Jesus' encounter with the woman at the well revealed much
-the Samaritans did not know whom they worshipped
-they acted out of artificiality
-the Samaritan woman decided that was not for her
-the Samaritan woman felt disappointed & guilty after her failed marriages
-she was isolated by the religious community
-Jesus wanted to give her a new lifestyle
-we all want God to be real to us but we often play games with God
-we often make false promises to God
-God wants to have a real & intimate relationship with us
-we must however be honest with Him
-true worshippers worship God in spirit & reality
-Paul was excited because he could witness to all in the prison
-the gospel was being preached in the barracks & palace above the prison
-Paul rejoiced in Christ & His cause
-he was Christ-centred, not self-centred
-Christ's cause was being advanced
-are we Christ-centred or self-centred?
-we can do nothing on our own
-but Paul said, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"
-how free is Jesus to work in your life & mine?
