A Prophet Is Without Honour In His Own Town

Summary :

-the bible is a journal of God's mercy
-faith begins with Christ
-we forsake all for Him
-the people of Galilee rejected Christ & thus had no faith in God
-they believed that there could not be anything divine about Jesus since they knew Him
-they underestimated Him
-astonishment, amazement & fear filled them
-He spoke words of wisdom
-it was unexpected of Him
-their prejudice also led to their unbelief
-Jesus was Himself astonished at their unbelief
-because a prophet has no honour in his own hometown,he must live a credible life for Christ all the more
-we must have a complete change in our lives
-only the power of the Holy Spirit can break prejudice towards Christ
-unbelief stumbled them & limits the power of God to work greatly
-faith begins by reading & hearing the word of God
-we must have simple trust & faith in God
