"The Gospel Explaination"

-Why am I a Christian?
-Reasons people give as to why they should be allowed into God's kingdom:
-good person
-every religion is the same
-i pray to God
-i don't know
-however we must tell them that God's standard is too high
-our good deeds are never good enough
-why? The e.g. Of bad eggs-if 3 out of 4 eggs are good but only one is bad, they still cannot be mixed in a bowl to be fried
-we have flaws and imperfections-no amount of good works can remove these flaws
-we commit sin because of our imperfections
-but Christ can save us
-e.g. What meaning & significance Christ dying on the cross to remove our sins has:
-someone bailing us out of prison for the crime we have committed
-we have to place our trust & faith completely in Christ; not in any other gods or in Christ & other gods
